Tax Accountant

As Tax Accountant you will support the US Tax Director in managing a variety of income and non-income tax compliance, provisioning and compliance for ICON's US operations and selected non US entities within ICON's tax function. You will work with ICON's finance function and wider business on a global scale.   Role responsibilities include: Maintaining excellent working relationships with internal finance team and local external advisers to ensure compliance with tax filings and payment obligations across each of your entities utilizing the Onesource software solution and provision of audit defense support as required; Ensuring compliance with local transfer pricing regulations with the framework of ICON's overall business model; Keeping up to date with legislative developments in US and your assigned countries and ensuring the implications of all legislative changes are addressed appropriately; Ensuring accurate and timely quarterly US GAAPreporting through the utilization of the Longview tax provision software solution. Providing commercially focused and actionable taxsupport in respect of US business operations. Providing tax advice and support for projects relevant to your entities. Any other relevant duties as the Director may see fit.   Experience & Knowledge Requirements: Qualified Accountant - CPA or qualified by experience 5+ years' experience within Tax accounting Excellent Onesource compliance software (or the equivalent) knowledge required. Proven US GAAPtax accounting knowledge required in addition to strong Federal, multi-state and local compliance knowledge. Ability to research and propose resolutions on complex tax issues. Public accounting experiencepreferred. Must possess superior organizational and documentation skills Strong analytical skills set and solid experience with taxfinancial data. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
