Summary:
The Hospice of the Abramson Center for Jewish Life is currently seeking a Part-time Volunteer Coordinator for our new and growing Hospice program.
The Volunteer Coordinator would be responsible for the development and administration of the Hospice volunteer program.
This position will provide the following services:
-Develop and implement programs for the recruitment and retention of Hospice volunteers.
-Coordinate volunteer assignments with clients and families
-Prepare reports for Hospice Administrator as requested
-Educate the community about all aspects of volunteerism, particularly as it relates to hospice
-Effectively assess quality and quantity of services provided to the community by volunteers

Requirements
High school Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelors Degree in Communications or Marketing preferred. 1 year of recruitment or sales experience, demonstrated ability to execute a supportive approach to volunteer and client/family needs. Excellent organization and communications skills (both written and oral). Ability to work well with interdisciplinary teams, and demonstrated experience in supervision.
