Qualifications:
Arrives to work on time as scheduled in full uniformGreets Guests with a warm and friendly manner and acknowledges everyone who comes within 5 feet with a smileProvides highest level of service by adhering to all Millers Ale House service standardsFollows the steps of service as defined in the training materialsServes alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and state alcohol service requirementsWorks directly with other Team Members to ensure all the Guests needs are fulfilled in a timely mannerEnsures bar and menu knowledge to address Guests questions, including food allergy issuesEnsures proper food handling and sanitation of work areasInteracts with Guests to create Ale House Raving FansMaintains a neat and organized bar work areas; to include bar tops and area around the outer barNotifies Management immediately of any potential Guest, Team Member, or operational issue; to include long ticket timesSAFETY & SANITATIONWashes hands every 30 minutes throughout the shiftEnsures all food and alcohol is served responsibly and in accordance of company standards and state service requirementsMaintains clean and sanitized work areasWorks with Team Members to ensure that safety and sanitation protocol is being executed to company standardTEAMWORK, SKILLS AND EDUCATIONSupports other Front of House functions as needed, insuring that everything within the 4 walls of the restaurant is every Team Members responsibilityPositively communicates with other Team Members and Management to keep one another informedPossesses communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as with a teamAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work with numbers and handle cashPossesses basic reading and handwriting skills with ability to operate the restaurant point-of-sale softwareMust be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state lawSets up Team Members for success at shift change by ensuring side work and stations are properly stockedPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe Bartender is expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodationPhysical demands include:
Remain standing for extended periods of timeBending, reaching, squatting, lifting, and carrying up to 25 lbs., for short distancesAbility to work with varying noise levelsFrequent communication with Managers, Team Members and GuestsMust be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
