Memory Care Lead

Join us at Spring Mill Pointe, an award winning community!Under limited supervision, the Memory Care Lead coordinates the memory support program to ensure that the physical, social & emotional needs of the residents and their families are met. As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.Starting at $50k depending on experience Duties include:
Keeps the HumanGood Memory Support Program Philosophy at the core of all planning and implementation of activities and care to meet the specific needs of residents; Supervises Team Members in the Memory Support unit Leads by example and collaborates with Community Life Coordinator to ensure team members engage residents in programs Collaborates with Clinical partners to coordinate resident moves and transfers within the Memory Support; Provides orientation for new residents and family members; Conduct and promote support and/ or educational groups for residents/ families; Communicates with resident family members in a respectful and caring manner and provides information regarding residents' daily life as appropriate; uses tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in potentially sensitive or emotionally charged situations; Coordinates with Director of Wellness and Assisted Living to ensure positive resident care To be successful in the role, you would have:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Must have at least 3 to 5 years prior related experience with people living with dementia and at least 1 year of supervision experience. Prefer 2
years' experience in assisted living management.
